Susanna cracks the code
19668119625 256144441361 368136400625-36181576
to get a two digit number. What is this number?

So I've tried endless strategies with a few friends as well but we just can't seem to figure it out!

It's always good to give full information. Is this from the Maths quiz for students? Is there a closing date?

Thanks. I see there are similar questions earlier in the series, maybe the tactics, methods in those would help you with this one?

I've been trying but I'm having trouble seeing anything
Taking the numbers as chunks of numbers going up to 26 doesn't seem to work because then I have 4 4 4 which would be 3 same letters right after each other

I don’t want to be rude, but you haven’t posted the puzzle correctly. People here are trying to help, but you really are
wasting their time,

It starts 1968119625. I will tell you the answer if you promise, on pain of death, a) that it’s definitely permitted for you to ask for answers on internet fora, and b): if you always ask the question precisely as they should be asked in future

I apologise. I'm completely at fault here. I'd had a long day and I made an error. I will be meticulous with my posts from now on.
I don't want the answer, and that is not permitted. I would much rather appreciate a hint at a strategy for cracking the code.

Thanks for the honest reply. There’s no single strategy guaranteed to work, but ...
The code is likely to spell something out. That probably means letters will be used more than once. Look to see whether particular digits or sets of digits get repeated, and if so, whether you notice anything about them

You might also want to think about frequency analysis. Obviously some letters occur more often than others in numbers. So you might consider which letters the most frequently occurring groups are likely to represent
