Help please with parsing 3d - Performer briefly calls number up, 17a - Best in team, Miguel's the personal bookkeeper, and 21a - Predicament crossing street, after swirling high winds. I think the answers are pop singer, recording Angel, and jet stream?

17, Record in gang el.

21a - Predicament = JAM around an anagram/"swirling" of "STREET"

21, Anagram of "jam"/predicament, and "street".

I have SEXTON but can't parse it.

Some tricky clues - I liked 7 & 8 down and 14 & 17 across

Text = send messages, Sext = send explicit messages. Sext On, keep sending them (March On, Plod on etc).
