In case anyone is interested, the latest CAM offering by Nimrod is out.

More doable than some of the CAM offerings.

Magazine is available at magazine.alumni.cam.ac.uk

If that was a recommendation, candledave, I think it should have included a health warning - the clues are very eclectic (I can think of a better word but I'd better not use it here).
You're right about the easy endgame, it's very neat (unlike the last one).

Fair enough. I did enjoy it though. Nice endgame and interesting topic.

I quite like different styles of cluing now and again although I agree that there are probably a couple in there that you wouldn’t see in The Listener.

All done, but a couple of niggly loose ends remain.

3d The way I'm parsing the wordplay would mean that "taken off" would be a reversal indicator, but is that right? I could see how an aeroplane which had just "taken off" would be "climbing" but that seems a bit tenuous.

34a I'm thinking that the "do" of the clue must match the first 3 letters of the answer. But I can't find a definition which matches both.

I had to laugh when I finally twigged 7d though – very good!

3, take off as in ascend. Agree it's a little loose

34, Do one, scram, leg it.

Thanks for that @buddy. Re 34a I did wonder if it could be that, but my Chambers hasn't that definition. Found it in yourdictionary.com though.
