Presumably "boy" resolves to "lad", first 3 letters of first word ?
Can anyone help please ?

Hi both thanks for your replies. Yes, after posting I realised that I had wrongly got answer "Robbinns" for 23 across when it should have been "Rabelais".

Now the answer "Lady Chapel" makes sense !
