Absolutely superb Tatters - you certainly have far more patience than I have!!! I had shelved this as the slog of confirming the Latin primes was grinding me down - the spreadsheet revitalised my determination to complete this.

Tatters, should 499 (ID) be included in the list of two-digit primes in your spreadsheet? Or have I misunderstood it?

To indicate less than you can only put a number before one no bigger than ten times its size, so IV or IX OK but not IL etc.

Technically 2 is a prime, so the list should actually have included II as a 2digit prime.

I am really struggling with this. I seem to have the 2 nines, both sevens and a choice of sixes. To get me going could someone tell me whether it’s the large or smaller nine that goes at the top. I’ve tried both ways but cannot make my mind up.
