My first post: All I know is that answer is an Occupation. One word, seven letters:
He finally misses the point when drinking his favourite scotch (7)

It is not a Crossword, just a Cryptic clue for Occupations
I should be grateful to be able to sleep tonight. Thank you

Teacher? Teacher’s is a well-known blend of Scotch, and if you miss the final S (point of the compass) it leaves the occupation.

It’s pretty weak, and I don’t know if other clues are like that. Feel free to ignore
