Chris, D is an obscure (for me) piece of farmyard machinery, but the word play is fair. Word for plate and a pointy thing with c inserted

Making good progress now, can't parse L though if anyone can help with that. Just the SW corner with some gaps. I have zero knowledge of cricket and baffled by the 2nd Y.
Laughed at F, then remembered it was a Paul crossword so I shouldn't be surprised. Think that's my COD.

Oops, SE. Never can do directions, struggle with left and right.

L - word for rule around the middle (without case) of golf + expression of doubt (+ is that right?)

Does anyone else use the Guardian Puzzles app? There is no prize crossword on there today!!

Those of us that print it off had to use the .pdf today - maybe that explains it?

The puzzle is one that can't be displayed in the usual format, an alphabetical jigsaw, so that might be why it's not on the app.
