All done - enjoyed it, although haven’t yet parsed 10.

One question though - for the very last part of the instructions, is it literally just a slight expansion of the colouring which is what I’ve done so far or is there something else hiding to find?

That's what I did, candledave (is it just that it feels a bit too easy?).
10d refers to another clue/answer.

All done now - I too, like tatters, back engineered quite a few of the misprints once I knew how to finish the grid. The PDM came quite quickly once I figured out that the 3rd word of the misprints is a verb and not a noun. It's marvellous what a few hours sleep and looking at things afresh can do.

I've got everything bar the 3rd representation as I haven't solved the clue yet, but I think I'll take a leaf out of Gitto's book and look at it again after a few hours sleep.

.....actually, I'm not certain how to illustrate his middle name, I've already got a circle as part of one of the two titles so what's left to "expand slightly"?
