My brain is spinning as per usual. Only one left to do but I cannot parse it.
Among those attending - didn't I tell you! (5). T?E?E. 5 possible answers and I can't make a decision. Is it teene, theme, there, these or thete? Would prefer an explanation as to how you arrived at the answer rather than just being given the correct answer. Tia.

My only thought is THERE, as in a parent saying "There! I told you so!".
Parsing HERE for attending, but I don't see a good reason for the T.

So not theme then? I was thinking along the lines of 'those' meaning 'them' with an e at the end? Quite honestly, I don't know why I bother with crosswords....they really do make my brain spin!!! LOL. P.S. I'm not a robot....they keep asking me.

Chambers thesaurus equates "there" and "in attendance"

Homophone... they’re and there

...perhaps, I’m not so convinced now, but the second part of the clue does read like a homophone indicator

I think chrise has there! = told you so! correct, and "attending=there" is in Chambers. Seems like a (not so straightforward) double def to me.
