I find ginge's ziptop interesting, not a word I have heard of before, but it does parse perfectly.

zipper also can nearly fit in a couple of ways, hopefully you have another one crossing.

I did have a crosser to confirm ziptop. Another clue that was devious, but obvious when you see it.

Yes I looked it up after, I always have called it ziplock.

With clues like these looks like a real nightmare of a puzzle.
