20ac Travelling on bus, cycling? Girl seen there. INGRID. I struggled with one or two last week, but this had me until I got the checked letters. Has PHI abandoned the long-standing tradition (determined by Ximenes?) that the letters of an anagram must be present in the clue?

No, it's not an anagram, it's the letters of a six-letter word meaning 'Travelling on bus' with the letters 'cycled', ie moved in rotation with letters falling off the end going on to the beginning.

Could just as easily be on horse!
