I thought Google might sort 111 rapidly, but it didn't! Are the clues straight, cryptic, or some of each?

Yes, I suspect his 'de' (rather than 'da') has been compounded with the rest of his surname. He came on as a sub on Thursday night...

Ah, so it needs to be exactly 2 s's and 1 g. The names that he is usually known by (7,5) would work very nicely...if it weren't for that extra 7 on the end!
