Hi all. Two today:

They're held on May 1 usually in lead-up to confinement = Labour days.

Peter's out of danger = safe

and Chambers says that Labour Day is held in many countries on May 1st as a celebration of - you've guessed it - labour and workers. The wordplay of course is labour as a preliminary to birth

what i mean is,if confinement = pregnancy,then "lead-up to confinement" can't really be Labour??
