Erm, am I missing something? I just have five straight lines. Which doesn't seem what I'd expect from either of the two theme words.

Gitto @7 I took the preamble to mean that the completed grid had 180 degree symmetry before and after shading etc. However, the more I look at it, the more ambiguous it gets because while the empty grid with separators is symmetrical, the completed one isn't until the non-compliant letters are removed.
