6D (4, 4) "Pass away and arise awkwardly on the Day of Wrath"

I have .I.S .R.E and assume it is an anagram of 'DIE' and 'ARISE' but can't crack it.
This is a crossword where the initial letter of the answer is given and the word length but you have to find where it fits in the grid,
