?L?N?Y. Can only see FLUNKY for menial but this assumes flunk can mean plough, which doesn't look right

7d "Nobody rises after notes to take it easy" (4,2,4,4)

?E?T ?? ?N?S ?A?S. Looks like REST ON ONES OARS but not sure.

Any help much appreciated
