This final one has me stumped! Poss anagram of
‘of mail’?

Clue - Note has bearing on redistribution of mail

Unless I have an error last 2 letter word ends in ‘i’

Help please!

i wondered if i might be a compass bearing - 2 letters if it is 6 - then the anagram of mail. i haven't come up with anything, though.

Of the links in the crossword one may be a bit iffy but I’m certain of the others!
At the moment it looks like this E?A?I. The iffy one is the E. The clue that produced that was ‘ Moved higher at university having made more cheerful?’ (6,2)
My answer is ‘liftEd up

is it 5 letters or 6? i assumed 6 as you tried an anagram of "of mail"!

E la mi are all notes, but it would be a very odd clue!
