Hardest I can remember thought some of the answers seem a bit loose e.g the thread below on smashed/trashed

4a I think "Brenda" is suggesting the answer is "Posher" as spoken by the Queen - it would sound like Porsche.

6d Section. Party is a Sect, first letter (leader) of independent i, no backwards ,on.

12a Chambers gives "dollop" as "A rank patch in field", so "stinking" fits.

Thanks Brendan. That does seem a bit obscure for the Eye -I think most people would think of a dollop being like a load of jam on a spoon. I reckon that even in the Times there would be quite a few "never heard of that definition" comments.
