Hi All, Help required....

2D - Such are the downers to start a kids game. (6) _ N _ K _ S

3D - Up and down it goes around (5) _ O _ O _.

7D - Its a regressive wine for a teachers' grapevine! (4) _ S _ E.

First one is Snakes (from snakes and ladders game)..you go down snakes
second one is Rotor

looks like Asti (its a backwards)

I thought asti but cant figure out the teachers grapevine piece (bit early in the day though!)

Hi Trevor and Chris. I think I made a mistake on the accross clue....11A. This one would'nt be hard at all ! (6). i put in Softer when i think it should be Softie.... The 'i' will give me Asti.

Re the teachers bit in 7d, just googled 'asti' and found that there is a teachers union called ASTI (Association of Secondary Teachers, Ireland). I guess we should of all known that!
