We're fine thanks, Stevie. Both now retired, life hasn't changed dramatically apart from, obviously, no visits to the pub. Having to self-medicate with alcohol at home. I think Skye probably misses seeing other faces and being fed biscuits by all and sundry. She's quite a social (and greedy) dog. I don't see the Wheatsheaf re-opening any time soon. Even before the virus, David and Miller had decided they were packing it in come August, when the lease runs out. In the current situation, I can't see anyone in their right mind being willing to take the place on. I heard that the other David who, along with his wife, has the Rambler is also thinking about throwing in the towel. Throughout the lockdown, Stefan King, or his company, has still been demanding the full lease payments from them. The village could become publess! (I don't really count the Torrance Inn. It's more of a restaurant and, to me, it feels like you're sitting in a hotel foyer in there). I
How are you coping? Are you locked down (or up) on your own? Hope you're staying safe and sane.
