Yes bloodlust, the urban dictionary gives "up on blocks" as menstruating.

I think you are right guys, though I had a thought that bloodless is in a way killing desire as it’s blood that makes the wood so to speak for the f****** . Desire to kill the urge is not to kill in this context.
