Stuck with 1d and 30ac.

1d Indecent neighbour (4). B _ N _

The answer has to be BONE as it links to another clue (OSSA). Can’t for the life of me work out the indecent neighbour link.

30ac It can 21 stock (4). S _ E _. Answer to 21 is SCAN.

Thinking about SEED or STEM for “stock” but don’t get the scanning link.

"Close to the bone" could mean "indecent", so "bone" is a neighbour.

Actually Norrier, shouldn’t it be Scanning Tunnelling Electron Microscope?
