Hello, I've been stalking this forum for a while and found it enormously helpful but I thought it was time I went legit!
Could anyone help me with the parsing of 39A, Dam displacing English river insect. I have M_T_ and assume it must be MITE but I can't for the life of me see why.

Actually, geekay, a mite isn't an insect - it's an arachnid (spider relative). It's a distinction that a lot of people don't make, though!

pie is synonym for confusion ...reverse it and put QU inside
