Re parsing ( while we're here )
As I understand the etiquette, telescopic clues should include a definition, an indication of containment and then the phrase that actually holds the answer. But I keep seeing examples which use extraneous words in the sentence, which I understand is something of a no-no. An example might be " ....Brown erred " featuring ' owner ', but using " James Brown erred " is inserting ' James ' where it serves no purpose. Thoughts ?
