I have just come across an old uncompleted quiz & I am stuck with these last 2. Any suggestions? There are no word length indications.

Does this bird eat natives?

Tidy the mudguard.

Sorry myla. I've been through a birdbook, and the only one that seemed even remotely possible (and then not very!) was TURNSTONE.

I would be interested to know the answer if you ever find out.

Can I suggest REDWING? Red in a synonym for tidy in Bradford’s, and a wing is a synonym of mudguard

Given RED=TIDY, that would work, quisling.

In what context would red be used for tidy? I've never heard it.

It’s a Scottish verb, ChrisE, usually spelt with a double D
