Flummoxed by a couple.

Take tea crossing motorway in unconventional region (7)
*O*EMIL

Hard in centre of clubland to get a dance for oldies (5)
*RAWA

I was pretty confident of the checked letters but am now wavering.

I got the other with your hint, spoffy - it's a contraction of a longer word for a dance.
