I cant see why Paddington is correct.I have got cardington . carton is box. Dig is like . N is first letter of norks.But cant find justification for it being a large bra

I think it’s cardington the place was known during the war to hold big hangers for airships so big hangers??????

I'm with loubyloo and woodshederic on this: Cardington is the answer, as CARTON with DIG and N ("norks primarily"). Can't parse Paddington. And I had the village of Cardington as "the place that houses large airships".
For what it's worth, my favourite was "stamp on the toothpaste".
