I have officially lost it. All the trouble with my punctuation yesterday, only to wake up today and realise there is no 'east pole'!
So, for the last time...

A cardinal is a type of bird, and of course N and E are cardinal points.

(Winnie-the-Pooh, after being present at the finding of the North Pole, contemplated an expedition to find the East Pole, spike!)
