Any assistance parsing the solutions below would be much appreciated:

14A Key man who introduced antiseptics for a burn (7)
BLISTER
I see 'burn' is the definition but can't work out 'key man' or 'antiseptics'

29A Tries to make one admit they're setbacks (6)
KNOCKS
Definition = 'setbacks'. I'm stuck with the rest of the clue.

7D Near through, you add, before daylight (7)
TONIGHT
Definition = "before tonight". Does "near" = NIGH? I can't get the TO, or work out the meaning of "through".

20D The women in the library (3)
SHE
I'm totally stumped.

27D Didn't allow to go off in the van (7)
FORBADE
Definition = "didn't allow". I can't work out the rest of the clue.

14 Antiseptics were intrudoced by Jospeh LISTER, so it's B (key) LISTER
17 The "van" is short for "vanguard! or FORE part of an army. BAD inside it

27d Go off = BAD inside FORE (van(guard))

14a Key = B + LISTER (Joseph Lister, pioneer of antiseptic surgery)

7 Yes NIGH is near. It's inside TOT or "add up"
20 might just be a reference to the book She (who must be obeyed!) by Rider-Haggard, but it's a bit feeble!

29 another feeble one, referring to knocking for entry on a door, perhaps?
