1a 20 shillings, cents or euros (5) The answer could be COINS but surely Mr Mayer should know that tha plural of cent is cent and the plural of euro is euro.

Can’t argue with Chambers - perhaps I was misinformed. At least I now have the correct answer. Thanks to all who replied.

Dear malone. On further consideration I wonder if Chambers is in fact correct. On the euro notes themselves it is 5, 10, 20, 50 euro, not euros. Maybe Chambers is taking “common usage” into account?
