A Fortiori, a Latin phrase meaning 'with stringer premises'/reasoning. It's AI, excellent, Fort, citadel, Or, in clue+ =I/one. A Fort I or I.

I had actually worked it out using Malone's reasoning but had never heard the phrase before so wasn't sure about it. Thanks again.
