8 Tweenie, child. Tie = couple, Wee = tiny +N = New. T wee n ie.
15 Reek, hum, bad smell - and it sounds like Wreak, create.

3 Plight = scrape, predicament and Lighter = more flimsy. Sandwiches = put it inside, so Lam plight er.

3a I think it is lamer + plight

Ccr, you're welcome. You'd come up with 'lamplighter', so I thought you'd got the 'spill' meaning, and just wanted parsing.
