Hi Theo
I replied to you before but it seems not to have gone. I live on a hill so it is windy but at least not flooded.
Very hard luck to both grandfathers to head injuries.
The graveyard at St Hilda's Hartlepool is full of drowned fishermen. I looked it up- what was written was "6 men in a 5 man coble", in 1675! As a teenager I was taken out to Handa Island to see the puffins by two brothers who assured me they hadn't learned to swim because it would take longer to die. A few years later I saw (in a colour supplement) they had both drowned.
Kind regards to yourself and Mrs Penda
