Can anyine help with 31 ac. I have some letters, but I'm not absolutely sure they're right. The clue seems to realte in some way to 30 ac, so I'll givew that as well. 30ac Sows last of the lieutenant's....the answer I've got is tats. 31 ac is.....easy-care laundry also with attention (11) and the letters I have are ?ceh??d??a?, but the second c ight be an a if 16dn is bulimia and not bulimic.

30a is Elts (Young sows) + + LTS

31 Wash And Wear - Your C is incorrect in 16d - A

Thanks Tony, but surely 31 ac should have been given as 4,3,4? It's a little confusing! I'm sure Mr Mckenna does it to bamboozle us, and he certainly succeeded!

A lot of these barred grid puzzles don't give a breakdown but it should have said 'Three words'!

My point exactly Tony. On other clues he specifies the number of words so you have a better chance of getting them. Still haven't completed it, have about 5 to go butwill keep trying,
