Hi Thea, how did your treatment go? Well, I hope :-)

Hi Brendan Hope you are well. I'm getting on with taking the tablets ( at home ) . Two weeks on and one week off ( so that my reds and whites can recover from the " killing spree " ). Not any nasty side effects ( so far!!!).
Eventually they do a scan to see who is winning.
The appearance of the same clue solution in the Sat Xword and the Jumbo is surely not a coincidence is it?

Thanks for writing - Back to the Jumbo. ( Isnt the First Lord of the Admiralty Beyond the Pale !!!

I didn't do the Saturday Times crosswords so haven't seen the clue you're referring to, but I have seen the same clue appearing in different newspapers before - maybe there's a paucity of clues or setters :-)
