44a, "Works hop" looks OK for factory dance, but I don't get the act roughly bit?

In management-speak, “to workshop” something means to work, as a group, on rough ideas, leading to a more refined policy, product or service. This verbal form of “workshop” is confirmed in The Chambers Dictionary. Hence “act roughly” fits as a definition.
