It is also K, as in kilo!

K is thousand (kilogramme, kilobyte etc), Ks, thousands.

Your m in 27a is wrong. Last letter in 22d is also not correct.

Think of a Greek philosopher for 22d.

Yes, just this second worked out 18d. Now my initial answer seems idiotic!
