Was wondering that myself Marg77 ? Maybe it’s been so easy no one needs clues!! However I am stuck on two questions namely:
19. Recent shot shattered the creator of this unlikely solver of crimes (6,5)
and
21. A husband, old Bob, took a Penny on the river .... (6)
Any hints/clues would be appreciated please and thanks.

19 anag. of recent shot will lead to an author of well known crime solver

21 abbrev. For old Bob + abbrev. For penny + a river.
