The clip was an interesting snippet from the past. Gandhi seemed to be enjoying himself. I had to smile at "even his knees!"

I don't think that "bizarre little man" would be acceptable today, nor should I make the suggestion to buy the guy some trousers.

By the way, kt, PETA has recently said that the famous groundhog should be replaced by a robot. I suppose that casting a shadow is demeaning.

Couldn't agree more Aristo - difficult to believe that clip is from living memory. Although tbf I think the interest in Gandhi here was sincere even if he was politically incendiary.

To your other point, I'm beginning to suspect that Mattrom, given her Groundhoggian winning record, is indeed a super-bot, like Deep Blue, programmed to make us all look simple!
