I know that this quiz runs until the end of February but I am at a loss over Q 9.
....but the matron, not back on vessel, often has a flutter (6,7)
Please don't give the answer, just a lead would be much appreciated.

I may be wrong but I have been given the name of someone who lived in Knaresborough. If right hope this was not too much of a clue!!
