Is this an anagram? Can’t see it!

Crosser, it is just an anagram - it leads to an unusual (for me) word for 'rock' (noun).

20d "erratic" ..anagram of "cartier"

a rock or boulder that differs from the surrounding rock and is believed to have been brought from a distance by glacial action.

Thanks Elle and Malone - I’ve been on the wrong track because I had got the wrong answer for 25a, it all makes sense now!

There are some great examples not far from me. I've given the search page as I can't find one picture that shows the full extent of the filed of erratics.
