agree with everyone -- just wanted to note that 21d was pretty clever with its 10 usages.

Hi all

I'm really struggling with this one. Decided to take down the decorations first. I have a few, but even then I'm not sure of two of them. Can I have some hints for a couple to get me going. I've no idea what the answer to 7 is. I can't see an anagram and keep thinking period pains. Oh dear.

What about 13ac If letters were missing, this could be the fourth character of eight in a string (10)
I have A?O???????

A word for letters inside a word for a type of string around the 8th letter of the alphabet - you might find it where letters are missing

7d is an anagram but you need to change one of the words into another way it might be represented in a crossword so you have 15 letters

Many thanks Zozozo

For 7d, that was the one combination of letters I hadn't tried to anagram. Doh!

I had solved 13 ac but couldn't parse it, so thanks for the explanation.

I had two possible answers for 2d, but 20ac confirmed one for me but once again I cannot parse it fully. What is the circular letter?

I have also guessed at an answer for 6d, but have no idea why it is right. I might have to think again. Is it a date?
