Even by the standards of the Monthly puzzle this one is a beast.

Completely stymied on two.

21 down "One lifting cases in Pensacola, Cody and Kansas?" (6)
*K*C*P

16 down "Health supplement from day one kept in wood dresser at home" (8)

I think 21d might be SKYCAP (an airport porter, apparently). Anagram of PensacolA, CodY and KansaS - but there doesn't seem to be an anagram indicator.

* not an anagram, just a reversal (lifting)

Actually it's just backwards rather than anagram, but in that case "lifting cases" is doing double duty

Thank you both - I was convinced that the "cases" in the wordplay was "CA" - it's obvious when fresh brains spot the intention.

Now for the health supplement! Nowhere near it at the moment.

Thanks for that - handsewn fits, as do hard-fern and Mandaean, but I'm thinking it ends EIN - the "in" being "at home", but I may well be barking up the wrong tree.
