Finished but 26a “a small diversion?” Hmm.

And whilst I have the answers (I think), I can’t parse 7d and 19d.

7d - look for something you might smoke (backwards in the answer), inside a type of bomb minus first letter (unopened).

And 19d - "initially" gives you the last three letters of the answer (from the clue). Hopefully the first four then look more obvious!

Straightfoward indeed today. Possibly one or two too many anagrams in this one. None of the answers this week made me smile or think that the clue was extremely clever. Can't win 'em all though!
