Hello,

The answer to clue 26A is BRIE, clue = Chuck out last of condensed cheese.

I see the definition is CHEESE, but not much else. Could ‘chuck’ relate to ‘rib’? Any help much appreciated.

Apologies - thought I’d put this info in the subject. The crossword is from Take a Crossword Nov 2019.

Brief = condensed, summarised etc. Chuck out the end = drop the final letter, F. Cheese = Brie.
