Half done, but need a nudge with a couple.
2a) Sidewalks fringing legendary mount and woodland shrub (10)
9d) Opposed to team bar? Careful thought formerly required (12)
Not sure of any interlocking letters so won't put them up in case I'm wrong. Thanks!

2a - A five-letter American alternative for 'pavements', beginning with P ('Sidewalks') around ('fringing') the five-letter name of a very famous Irish steeplechaser from the 1960s ('legendary mount').

9d - A three-letter word meaning 'opposed to' (often seen in crosswords), plus a common four-letter word for a team, plus a less common (chiefly Scottish, according to Chambers) five-letter word for a bar (beginning R).

Hope that helps!
