58a shows answer length as 9 but the grid has 10 cells.
It is not one word.

This one was tougher than last month's but very doable.

I didn't like the error at 58 -as Sunray says, not 9 letters, not one word.

I was doing fine solving the puzzle thanks to the theme until I reached the lower-left part. I had the first three letters of 56A and 58A but differing notions on how to end each. When I received a nudge for 56A eventually Down entries 45, 46, 47 and 51 were filled correctly.

Two friends gave me Theme Words A, B, C in May this year. I'm thanking them by giving them a recipe from their local cuisine.

How did your friends know about the Theme words in May?

BTW, both Syzygy and I grew up with different cuisines.

I think keisterbutton must have been given Douglas Hofstadter's book by that name. I wonder why he hasn't written one about Cher.
