43 Caboodle, crowd. Cable, subscriber channels, with OO, loves (2 x O) and D, Democrat, inside.

Many thanks Malone, Rusty and Scorpiojo - I had the "innards", ERA and "OOD", worked out for the two that required it, but didn't help myself with 54 Across, which turns out to be SIDLE and not SLIDE!
