I find Enigmatist's clues really hard to solve. Is it just me?

Not having it to hand can you supply an example Barny please?

It's just a general comment. Enigmatist is obviously far too clever for me to solve. I even find it hard to parse many of the clues. Its todays crossword in the guardian.

Not just you, barny. I usually get some - maybe about half today - but find them too convoluted to spend much more time on. Glancing at some that I couldn't solve today, I just can't see the parsing.But I appreciate that a lot of people enjoy them - just not really for me.
