Sorry to bring this to the fore again but I have discovered just one more clue connected to dance style or genre I cannot answer:

'Dancers might be prancers but swop short pair for a pupil of some old time jollity (7),

Whoops should read:
Dances might be prancers but swop short pair for a pupil for some old time jollity (7)
Not of some old time jollity

I am not doing to well with the typing today (Dancers) not (Dances)

The problem with Moonlight Saunter is that it is 9,7 not 9,6.
There is also a moonlight stroll but stroll is in the clue. Very puzzling.
